The Regional Short Sale Field Guide, a product of a months-long ethics dialogue between key leaders from DAAR, Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors®, Greater Piedmont Area Association of Realtors®, Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® and Prince William Association of Realtors®, features an online reference tool that will help educate real estate practitioners to promote ethical and effective practices to safeguard clients.

Faced with a new market reality producing an unprecedented number of short sale transactions, REALTORS® must be versed in the complexities related to short sale listings and transactions to represent sellers and buyers effectively. The Guide offers a proactive approach REALTORS® can adopt to ensure that their business practices meet or exceed the standards established by the financial community and the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
