There is much confusion out there regarding how we got to where we are with a dual lock box system. In an effort to help clarify things, the Board of Directors has authorized the following letter mailed to all DAAR Principal and Managing Brokers and posted on our web site for all to review. DAAR recognized several REALTORS® who rose to the top of their industry in 2008 terms of, community service, education, association involvement and met minimum requirements in sales. The following REALTORS® celebrated their achievements at the 2008 DAAR Honor Society Induction Reception on March 26th at the Brambleton Welcome Center in Ashburn, VA
As part of the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® ongoing efforts to communicate and reach out to members more effectively, we have setup a new Facebook group to post news, upcoming events and network with each other. Hope to see you online!For the seventeenth consecutive year, DAAR will sponsor a Loudoun County Rebuilding Together (formerly Christmas in April, Inc.) project to help an area family make improvements to their home. More than 40 volunteers will donate one day to make a difference in the life of a local family. REALTORS®, lenders, title company representatives and contractors may paint, make repairs, clean up or landscape a home in Loudoun County. Local area businesses donate the supplies needed to do the work.
Well, it may not be the Oscar's, but a new logo is a big deal for DAAR. Aside from changing our business cards and stationary, the new logo will reinforce our commitment to making DAAR "The Association of Choice for Real Estate ProfessionalsTM" by visually representing DAAR's high tech, high-touch, member-centric core values That's why we always give our members a voice in the issues that matter to their business and why we let you vote on the logo that you liked best.
So without further delay, the winner is...
Logo #1. This logo won 42% of the overall vote. Second place was a vote to keep the old logo which won 34%. Stay tuned to see the new logo as we implement it over the next few weeks and months.
