The Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® published existing home sale indicators for Loudoun County in July this week. The monthly report, prepared by Rosemary deButts, Housing Analyst for DAAR, reflects a vibrant market well into a recovery phase following an extended decline.
Total annualized sales continued to gain on 2008 figures, the negative difference declined from 14% in June to 10.7% in July. Due to the cyclical nature of the market, month-over-month sales declined as expected by 7.4% from 529 to 490 units.
