This is the last week to purchase tickets to the 18th Annual DAAR Charity Auction and Dinner before the ticket price goes up. Tickets purchased by October 30th cost just $65/person. That price gets you two cocktails, a steak dinner (vegetarian entrees available upon prior request), wine with dinner, dessert, and a really fun time. There will be plenty of opportunity to get some really great deals just in time for the winter holidays at both the silent auction and the live auction.
Tickets will also be available for purchase at the DAAR Economic Summit on the 30th.
Tickets purchased after 10/30/09 will cost $75/person. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED, since we have to provide a final headcount to River Creek a week before the event.
The Auction will be held on Friday, November 6th from 6 pm to 11 pm at the River Creek Country Club in Leesburg. The event is open to DAAR members, their guests, and the public. Last year's event raised $32,000 for local charities, including:
- Good Shepherd Alliance
- Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter
- Loudoun Cares
- Loudoun Families for Children
- Rebuilding Together (aka Christmas in April)
- VoA Emergency Homeless Shelter
- VoA Transitional Housing Shelter
